Google IO is the home of most of Google’s biggest announcements. The Search Giant’s very own yearly developer conference helps app makers improve our experience, but that is not the only purpose it serves. Google often uses the eventful keynote to announce new products and services, while also giving some of them away to developers.

The Google IO rumor mill hasn’t been going full steam this year. We are not quite sure what Google could have in mind, but we can take a few hints and ideas from the few murmurs we have heard. Here are some of the announcements we can expect from Google, tomorrow.

Android Wear

While Android Wear has already been announced and we know all about the Moto 360 and LG G Watch, we are almost sure the wearable platform will be a hot topic at this year’s Google IO. We may very well hear about prices and release dates, which we have been expecting for a while.

In fact, rumors say attendees will get an LG G Watch to take home. That release may come much sooner and more affordable for some of you!

It is also said Samsung may announce its very own Android Wear device at IO, bringing some major competition to Motorola and LG. We know Samsung already has its Tizen smartwatches, but they are known for dipping their toes in any waters they can find.

Android TV

Long rumored as the Google TV replacement and savior of Google’s smart TV attempts, Android TV is said to show up at Google IO. The new platform will offer internet TV without compromises. Unlike Google TV, this will be a standalone device and will have no needs for a separate cable subscription.

Instead, Google is said to be focusing on content this time around. You will instead search for your favorite shows and movies, then you will be presented with the streaming services the content is available from.

Some have assumed there will be an Android TV device to show, but we have seen no leaks or concrete rumors yet.

Android Silver

I seriously doubt we will see any Android Silver news at this Google IO, but there is a slight possibility.

Nexus-5-Black

For those who don’t know, Android Silver is said to be a new project that would replace the Nexus program. Instead of releasing Nexus smartphones every year, Google would allow manufacturers to release Nexus-like smartphones.

These would have to adhere to Google’s rules. The devices should come with a near-stock experience, unlocked and with timely updates.

Project Ara

While Project Ara is not to be released until 2015, we could possibly be hearing a bit more about the project at Google IO. The concept of a modular phone finally becoming a reality still feels like a dream. I certainly haven’t come to terms with its impending release, so I would like Google to show us something we can go on.

How about a live demo of the device working? Maybe we could see them switching modules live. This could be me just dreaming, though.

Nexus 9?

Recent rumors shed light on what could be the next Nexus tablet. The HTC Volantis would be the Taiwanese manufacturer’s epic return to the nexus game. Rumors mention said device is to become the Nexus 9, an 8.9-inch tablet with a 2560x1440p QHD resolution.

Other specs are said to include a stunning NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 8MP/3MP cameras and 16GB-32GB of internal storage. While we are not sure of its release, there are chances we could see this device unveiled at Google IO.

What else?

Only the guys at Google know what’s going on, but we are sure there might be some curve balls being thrown tomorrow at Google IO. We might also hear about Android 5.0 “lollipop”, Chromecast news, Google in automotive, Nest, Google Fit and more.

What are you most excited about? What do you think we will see tomorrow at Google IO? Hold on tight, guys!
